Job Summary:

• We are looking for an
  experienced Business Analyst, specialized in Visual Basic , to work on reverse engineering and documentation
  projects for macros developed in Excel sheets .
• The ideal candidate has solid expertise in
  VBA code analysis, understanding of business processes integrated into Excel
  , and will be able to support the
  modernization, documentation and rationalization of existing tools
  .
• He/she will work closely with business users to transform historical solutions into robust, documented and scalable solutions.
• Risk analysis
• IT and HR process modeling (BPMN)
• Data collection and analysis
• Based on SAP
• Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Stakeholder management

• Formalization of deliverables

Responsibilities:

• Analysis and retro-engineering
• Understand and analyze in depth the existing Visual Basic macros in Excel.
• Identify dependencies, business logic and implicit rules encapsulated in the code.
• Map and document automated processes.
• Support and maintenance
• Ensure operational continuity of Excel files used by the business lines.
• Provide responsive support to key users.
• Documentation and knowledge transfer
• Structure and maintain clear and complete documentation on macros and their business logic.
• Train users and transfer knowledge to internal teams.
• Participate in documentary capitalization to guarantee the sustainability of developments.

Desired Profile:

• Education
  : University degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent.
• Experience
  : Minimum 5 years of experience in
  developing and analyzing Visual Basic macros in Excel
  , with proven experience in reverse engineering existing solutions.

Technical Skills

:

• Advanced proficiency in
  VBA (Visual Basic for Applications)
  and MS Excel environments.
• Excellent ability to analyze, decode and optimize existing solutions.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office environments.
• Experience in migrating Excel/VBA solutions to more industrialized environments is an asset.
