Position: IT E2E Project Manager (End-to-End Project Manager IT)
The IT E2E Project Manager is responsible for fully managing an IT project aimed at delivering an internal risk model. This means that you are responsible for planning, budget, scope, quality and timing of the project.
About the project
It is a series of applications that perform risk calculations together. Users from different departments or companies upload data through web applications. This data is then further processed with tools and databases. Everything is built with Microsoft technology on the Azure cloud platform, including containers, Azure Functions, Azure Batch, and more. Some parts can be developed in C#, Matlab or Python, depending on the technical choices.
What do you do as an IT Project Manager?
- You will work closely with various profiles such as program managers, architects, development teams and infrastructure teams.
- You will manage the entire delivery of the IT project, even if multiple suppliers and teams are involved.
- You draw up detailed schedules, from design to testing and going live.
- You will follow the progress of each project phase and make adjustments where necessary.
- You report clearly and transparently to the managers involved about the status of the project.
- You ensure that all IT requirements, including non-functional ones such as performance and security, are followed.
- You supervise the development teams during implementation and ensure smooth cooperation between development and infrastructure.
- You recognize and manage risks, and solve problems together with the right people.
Who are we looking for?
The ITPM should create a detailed plan, collaborate with multiple development teams, identify technical dependencies, and ensure that everything moves forward. It is an advanced system that we build with the latest Azure technologies such as Azure Batch, APIs, data pipelines and .NET.
Not to perform technical work myself, but to manage IT delivery in support of a business program manager.
- You are a self-starter and have at least 15 years of experience in leading IT projects, especially when building complete platforms with different components.
- You have experience in the insurance sector, preferably with Solvency II reporting.
- You've worked in Microsoft and Azure environments and have a good understanding of how software development, APIs, and web platforms work.
- You can explain technical information to the business in an understandable way, so that they can make decisions.
- You think ahead, proactively solve problems and enjoy working together.
- You are familiar with project methodologies such as PRINCE2 and Agile working.
- Knowledge of actuarial risks is a bonus, but not a must.
- You can create clear documentation and reports for different target groups.
