Data Engineer

Sibling is recruiting a Senior Data Engineer for a leading client in Antwerp, Belgium. ,

You will help build and maintain scalable, cloud-based (AWS) data pipelines—batch and streaming—collaborating with analysts and data scientists across departments.

One day you’re building ETLs for reports, the next you're powering real-time customer profiles to enhance content recommendations. You take ownership of the data platform's reliability, cost-efficiency, and performance—living the "you build it, you run it" principle.

The role entails,

• Design, deploy, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure
• Work closely with analysts and data scientists
• Harmonise data across departments and countries
• Continuously improve systems and share knowledge

Experience Required

• Skilled in AWS, Kubernetes, Apache Spark/Airflow, Kafka (Python/Scala), Terraform, and CI/CD
