About the Role

SANDT is looking for experienced Business Analysts to support major digitalisation and process optimisation initiatives in a complex, regulated environment.

You will play a key role in analysing, optimising, and modelling business processes, eliciting and formalising business and functional requirements, and bridging business and IT teams to ensure the successful delivery of digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyse current-state business processes, identify weaknesses, risks, and optimisation opportunities.
• Model and document end-to-end processes using BPMN.
• Contribute to system and information modelling using UML, where appropriate.
• Facilitate workshops and working sessions to elicit, clarify, and validate business needs.
• Elicit, document, and formalise business and functional requirements.
• Translate needs into functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring shared understanding and alignment.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and technical teams to assess solution feasibility and impact.
• Support delivery activities such as planning support, risk identification, and change alignment.
• Contribute to and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation of delivered solutions.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expert-level experience (5+ years) as a Business Analyst in complex organisational environments.

Proven experience in:

• Business process analysis and optimisation
• Business and functional requirements engineering
• Working with multidisciplinary teams (business, IT, external partners)
• Supporting digitalisation and automation initiatives
• Experience in the public sector and/or regulated environments is a strong asset.
• Experience within large organisations (1,000+ employees) is an asset.
• Proficiency in French, Dutch and English.
