Quality Control Inspector

In Brussels, we have our Structural and Mechatronics Engineering offices, where all our new programs begin and our workshops are equipped with modern

machines that produce complex metallic assemblies for aircraft and space launchers as well as advanced Thrust Vectoring Systems for space launchers.

Mission:

  • You will work for the Inspection Department, in the electronic assembly workshop. 
  • You will be part of an inspection team and report to the Quality Control Manager. 
  • You will be responsible for and participate in inspections of electronic equipment (printed circuit boards, electronic components, wiring, etc.) according to aerospace technical standards. 
  • In collaboration with your colleagues and under the supervision of the inspection manager, you will ensure the smooth running of all inspection activities. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Conformity checks on manufactured equipment 
  • Equipment configuration checks 
  • FAI (First Article Inspection) 
  • Expertise with specialized measurement equipment (measurement bench, microscope...) 
  • Drafting and monitoring of non-conformity reports 
  • Validation of production records, etc. 
  • Maintenance of accurate documentation and archiving of quality data. 
  • You will check and complete the documentation of electronic equipment. 
  • You will participate, with clients, in the acceptance procedures for electronic equipment. 
  • Collaboration and assumption of responsibilities at your level regarding the EN9100 quality standard and the ISO 14001 environmental standard. 

Profile: 

  • Bachelor's degree in electronics, with a very good knowledge of computer science. 
  • Demonstrable experience in assembly, inspection, and measurement of electronic components (IPC 610) 
  • Reading and understanding of 2D plans 
  • Knowledge of Catia is an advantage 
  • Active mastery, both written and oral, of Dutch, French, and technical English (interpretation of standards, communication with the customer) 
  • Operational knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Excel) 
  • Analytical mindset and ability to detect errors in data
