For our client in the engineering sector, we are looking for a hands-on experienced accountant.

What are your responsibilities? Purchasing

– Process invoices and expenses, liaise with suppliers, ensure approvals and compliance Invoicing

– Follow up on client payments and flag anomalies Treasury

– Enter bank transactions, verify IBANs, and prepare payment batches Closings & Audit

– Support monthly closings, book provisions, and assist with audits Tax & Compliance

– Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax filings Team Support

– Collaborate with departments and handle accounting-related queries

Who are we looking for? Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Knowledge of Belgian tax and VAT regulations Experience in monthly closings and audit preparation is a plus Proficient in SAP and MS Office, especially Excel Fluent in Dutch and/or French, with professional English Reliable, accurate, and proactive with a solution-oriented mindset Strong client service attitude and team player
