Accounting & Tax Manager – Permanent Position (South-West of Brussels Area) A company specializing in heating, ventilation, and domestic hot‑water solutions is looking for an Accounting & Tax Manager to join its team on a permanent basis. Accounting & Tax Compliance Ensure the accuracy and reliability of all financial, accounting, and tax information in line with legal requirements and internal group policies. Oversee the full general accounting process up to the preparation of annual financial statements. Supervise customer accounting activities, including invoicing, payment follow‑up, dispute handling, and credit‑risk monitoring. Guarantee the integrity of customer accounts and adherence to group procedures. Manage and secure all tax and VAT declarations. Produce quarterly closings and related financial reports. Financial Management Monitor and optimize stock‑related financial processes. Manage cash flow, including forecasting, daily monitoring, and optimization of financial movements. Provide operational performance indicators in collaboration with the controlling team. Team Leadership Demonstrated experience leading a team, including workload organization, performance management, and staff development. Plan, prioritize, and coordinate the team’s activities. Prepare financial, economic, and social information for the Works Council. Manage Belgium‑specific insurance matters (e.g., occupational accident insurance, fire insurance) in coordination with the group insurance department. Strong command of general accounting up to balance sheet and P&L. Solid knowledge of tax regulations. SAP experience is a plus. Languages Fluent in French and Dutch. English is an asset. Takes into account ad‑hoc instructions from the financial controller. Contributes to salary‑review decisions for accounting staff in coordination with management. Personal Qualities
