For one of our clients in manufacturing sector we are seeking an experienced Finance Business Process Owner (Independent/Freelance consultant).
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and enhance finance operations processes within a BPO environment, with a focus on core transactional processes including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Record-to-Report (R2R)
- Ensure seamless alignment between outsourced finance operations and client business objectives to optimize efficiency, compliance, and service quality
- Act as a key liaison between finance delivery teams and ERP platforms, preferably with experience in SAP S/4HANA
- Analyse, identify, and resolve process inefficiencies and service delivery issues by applying strong problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies
- Drive transformation and standardization initiatives within finance operations, ensuring scalability, automation, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders including client finance teams, shared services, IT, and compliance to ensure process integration and service excellence
Qualification
- Extensive experience in finance operations or shared services delivery, ideally within a BPO or global business services environment
- Deep understanding of end-to-end finance processes, particularly P2P, O2C, and R2R
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, with a preference for SAP S/4HANA experience
- Fluency in English and French is required
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and drive alignment
- Proven track record of leading process transformation, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives in a finance operations setting
- Prior experience in manufacturing industry is a must
This is a long term role for an independent consultant with a start date in June 2025.
Presence on clients site in Liege will be required 3 days/week.
