Role Overview We are looking for an APAC Supplier Engagement Manager to serve as the primary execution lead for our renewable energy programs. You will be the day-to-day point of contact for manufacturing partners, guiding them through the practical steps of adopting renewable energy. This is not a high-level strategy role. This is a hands-on execution role for a project-oriented professional with 4–6 years of experience who enjoys moving projects through a pipeline. Your mission is to bridge the gap between a brand's climate goals and a factory's utility bill, ensuring that renewable energy projects actually get built or contracted. Key Responsibilities Supplier Onboarding & Program Execution Drive Participation: Lead the end-to-end engagement process for factory partners, moving them from initial outreach to project commitment. Technical Guidance: Act as the \"help desk\" for suppliers, explaining the mechanics of onsite solar, green power procurement, and PPA structures in simple, actionable terms. Workshop Facilitation: Execute training sessions and cohort meetings (in English and Mandarin) to troubleshoot common supplier hurdles and collect necessary energy data. Project Delivery & Pipeline Management Data Collection: Oversee the collection and validation of supplier energy load profiles and site data to assess project feasibility. Milestone Tracking: Manage the project pipeline, ensuring all participants are meeting deadlines for document submission, site audits, and contract reviews. Deployment Support: Coordinate between the brand, the supplier, and the developer to ensure smooth implementation of renewable energy solutions. Developer & Partner Coordination Liaise with Developers: Work daily with project developers and IPPs to match supplier needs with available energy projects. Initial Screening: Conduct first-level reviews of developer proposals to ensure they meet the specific commercial and technical requirements of the supplier. What You'll Bring Experience: 4–6 years of experience in renewable energy project management, supply chain operations, utility account management, or environmental program implementation. Direct Experience in APAC/China: A proven track record of working with manufacturers or suppliers in the region (China experience is essential). Project Execution: Experience \"closing the loop\" on projects—moving a stakeholder from a conceptual goal to a signed agreement or completed installation. Skills & Mindset: The \"Relentless Executor\": You are organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy the \"grind\" of moving multiple projects through a workflow. Clear Communicator: You can explain complex energy concepts to a factory manager who is focused on production quotas, not carbon credits. Operational Fluency: Comfortable with data management, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce/HubSpot), and project management software. Problem Solver: When a supplier hits a roadblock (e.g., roof integrity issues or local grid restrictions), you proactively look for a workaround. Why Join Ren Energy Tangible Results: You won't just write slide decks; you will be responsible for actual Megawatts of clean energy added to the grid. Market Expertise: Become a go-to expert in the practicalities of the energy transition in the world's most important manufacturing hubs. High-Octane Team: Work with a mission-driven team that values action and results over theory.
