Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Customs and Trade Associate at Reed Smith LLP. The Associate will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to customs and trade law, including compliance, advisory work, providing trainings, and client and regulator interactions. The role is located in Brussels with the possibility of some remote work.

Key skills, attributes, and experience

• Outstanding academic credentials.
• Demonstrated interest in customs and trade matters.
• Master's degree in law from an EU or UK university.
• EU or UK qualified.
• Interest in working on other matters of EU law is a plus.
• Strong English written and oral communication skills. Other languages are a plus.
• Common sense, great judgment, and commitment to excellence. Attention to detail is critical.
• We accept candidates with up to five years of experience.
