Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Test Engineer / Network Automation Engineer with strong expertise in network routing, switching, SD-WAN, Juniper technologies, and cloud networking. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in network test automation, testing methodologies, and network validation within complex enterprise or service provider environments.
This role requires a deep understanding of modern networking technologies and the ability to design, execute, and automate network test strategies across on-prem and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and execute network test strategies and validation plans
Develop and maintain network test automation frameworks
Perform functional, regression, performance, and scalability testing for network solutions
Validate routing and switching configurations across enterprise and SD-WAN environments
Work extensively with Juniper networking technologies
Test and validate network deployments across public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Utilize network testing tools to simulate traffic and analyze performance
Troubleshoot complex network issues across hybrid and cloud environments
Collaborate with network architects and engineering teams to ensure high-quality deployments
Ensure adherence to industry-standard testing methodologies and best practices
Document test cases, test plans, results, and technical findings
Required Experience & Skills
Networking experience with strong foundation in:
IP routing tables
VLANs
DNS
VPN technologies
Experience in Juniper technologies
Experience in network routing and switching
Experience in network test automation
Experience with public cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience using network testing tools
7+ years of experience in SD-WAN technologies
7+ years of experience in testing methodologies
Technical Competencies
Deep understanding of L2/L3 networking concepts
Strong expertise in routing protocols and switching technologies
Experience with automation tools and scripting (preferred: Python, Ansible, etc.)
Knowledge of traffic generation and performance testing tools
Experience validating cloud networking architectures
Familiarity with CI/CD integration for network testing (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant certifications (e.g., JNCIP/JNCIE, CCNP/CCIE, Cloud certifications)
Experience in service provider or large enterprise environments
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent documentation and communication skills
