Renew is building a new model to accelerate energy renovations by removing the biggest barrier property owners face: upfront capital.

We are intentionally early and focused — this is about building the right solution before scaling it. The ambition, however, is anything but small.

Renew is looking for a true cofounder, not an employee — someone who wants equal ownership, equal responsibility, and equal upside.

You are someone who:

• Is highly ambitious and wants to build a meaningful, high-impact company
• Is bold, persuasive, and action-oriented — you move fast, take initiative, and are comfortable taking calculated risks
• Is naturally optimistic — you believe problems can be solved and momentum can be created
• Has a strong interest in climate, energy, housing, or sustainability
• Has a clear entrepreneurial mindset: you test, learn, iterate, and execute
• Enjoys ambiguity and building from scratch

In practical terms, this likely means:

• ~3 to 7 years of professional experience
• Early enough in your career to take big bets, move fast, and grow with the company
• Senior enough to operate independently, make decisions, and take ownership

Ideal Background:

• Startup, scale-up, consulting, finance, or high-ownership operating roles
• Strong commercial instincts and comfort with numbers
• Able to engage with technical, financial, and operational topics

What You'll Do

As cofounder, you will:

• Co-define Renew's vision, strategy, and positioning
• Take ownership of business development, partnerships, sales,.. (exact split depends on fit)
• Lead early customer discovery and commercial validation
• Help shape the company narrative, culture, and ambition
• Work side by side with the founder on all critical decisions

This is a hands-on role where execution matters more than titles.
