About the Role

We're seeking a Confirmed Functional Analyst (Freelance) to join our client's mission-critical legal compliance application project in Brussels. What You'll Be Doing

• Engage with business stakeholders to deeply understand and analyze business needs
• Translate complex requirements into clear, testable functional and technical specifications
• Produce precise documentation using Confluence, including specs and user stories
• Collaborate closely with developers, testers, and UX/UI designers to ensure seamless delivery
• Support test coordination and validation, contributing to test strategy and automation alignment
• Maintain functional consistency and quality across the existing application landscape

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in business, functional, and technical analysis within complex environments
• Expertise in requirements engineering and translating business flows into usable, intuitive interfaces
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, JIRA, and Confluence
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, test coordination, and test automation collaboration
• Ability to work in a process-heavy, documentation-driven context with a focus on regulatory compliance
• Ownership mindset, proactive problem-solving, and a drive for impact
