Contract Sales Lead / Account Manager – Belgium

WHO THIS IS FOR

This role is designed for two types of people:


The Veteran: a senior sales professional looking to stay commercially active on their own terms. The €50K retainer is structured for 2–3 days per week. Results matter, not hours.


The Entrepreneur: an ambitious seller who wants to own a national market and build something from the ground up, without the bureaucracy of a large company. The commission is uncapped. The ambition should be too.

While our competitors are being acquired and cutting local teams, we are doing the opposite. We invest in local people, local relationships, and local language support. This role is central to that strategy.


THE ROLE

We are looking for our first person on the ground in Belgium. You will own and grow QuestionPro's presence in the Belgian market, starting with a small existing book of business (~€45K ARR) and building from there.


New Business & Market Development:

  • Own new business development across Belgium
  • Build pipeline through outbound prospecting, events, and partner referrals
  • Run discovery, deliver demos, and manage deals through close


Account Management & Expansion:

  • Own and grow the initial book of business
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with customers
  • Manage renewals and drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities


Localization & Partnerships:

  • Localise messaging and content for Belgium
  • Own a local events calendar
  • Identify and develop relationships with local partners, agencies, and research consultants


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR


Experience:

  • Background in SaaS sales, research technology, CX platforms, or analytics software
  • Familiarity with Qualtrics, Medallia, Forsta/Confirmit, SurveyMonkey, Alchemer, or similar platforms is strongly preferred — candidates with this background will stand out
  • Proven track record in new business development or account management


Languages:

  • Professional proficiency in both Dutch AND French required
  • English working proficiency required


Mindset:

  • Self-directed and comfortable operating without a playbook
  • Excited by market ownership, not just quota attainment
  • Contractor-ready (existing entity preferred, not required)


COMPENSATION


This is a performance-based contractor role. The structure rewards results, not hours.

  • Base retainer: €50,000/year (structured for 2–4 days per week; full-time available for the right candidate)
  • On-target earnings: ~€80,000
  • Commission: Uncapped — tiered rates reward overperformance


GROWTH PATH

You will start as an individual contributor. As the Belgian market grows, you will have the opportunity to help hire and mentor additional sellers — moving from market builder to market leader.
