Business Development Manager


About Qargo
Qargo is a tech scale-up with offices based in London and Ghent (Belgium). We're on a mission to transform the transportation industry by making it more efficient, profitable, and sustainable. We are building the most user-friendly and intuitive Transport Management System (TMS) on the market that automates administrative processes and optimizes planning. To support our growth and expand our business, we're looking for a Business Development Manager in
Wallonia
. You will play a key role in expanding our presence in this market, as well as
Luxembourg
.

What You'll Do:
Own the Sales Cycle
– From prospecting to lead generation to close, it's yours to command


Hunt for New Leads
– Through calls, emails, networking events, face to face meetings and fairs, you'll bring in new business and drive growth.


Build Lasting Partnerships
– Forge strong relationships with industry players to drive cross sales and boost brand awareness.


Think Creatively
– Shorten the sales cycle, spark new ideas, and push toward ambitious goals.


Get to Know Your Clients
– Understand their needs, objectives, and challenges—and know the competition, too.


Collaborate Cross-Functionally
– Team up with other departments and use
HubSpot
to stay on top.

What You Bring:
Around
3-5 years of experience
in a sales driven role with a
hunter's instinct.
*
Tech savvy,
experience with
SaaS sales
is a big plus.
**
Experience, knowledge or affinity with
*transport is a plus
Customer-focused, driven, energetic, and persistent—no challenge too big.


Travel-ready
and internationally minded.

A team player with stellar
interpersonal skills
and a
win-as-a-team mentality
Fluent in
English and French.
Since you'll be visiting prospects and clients regularly, a
valid driver's license
is a must.
