Data Engineer

Prosource is currently looking for two experienced Data Engineers to join a dynamic team within the banking sector. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in data engineering, a testing mindset, and experience working on modern cloud-based data platforms.

You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data products that support business intelligence, analytics, and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using modern tools and frameworks.
• Translate source-to-target logic into functional data products (design-based thinking, prototyping).
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Ensure data quality through rigorous testing and validation.
• Apply data modeling techniques to structure data for optimal performance and usability.

Profile

• Strong knowledge with SQL, DBT, Databricks, Python, Oracle
• Strong testing mindset (quality-first principle)
• Star schema modeling (facts/dimensions)
• You have an experience in the banking sector
• You have good written and spoken communication skills in DUTCH and ENGLISH.
• You are results oriented with a pragmatic approach.
• You are a team player able to work independently with a proactive attitude.
• You are quality-minded with an eye for detail.
