Prosource is currently looking for a skilled .NET Developer to support our client within a key modernization initiative, as part of a strategic application transformation program. As a .NET Developer, you'll play a vital role in the migration of a legacy .NET Framework 4 application to a modern .NET 8 architecture. This project is central to the client's goal of aligning technology with future business needs. Your core responsibility will be to bring deep technical expertise and ensure smooth, high-quality migration while adhering to established development standards. Here's what your impact will look like Contribute directly to the migration from .NET Framework 4 to .NET 8, working on complex application logic and architecture redesign. Ensure code quality through adherence to coding standards and best practices defined by the client. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architecture, QA, and operations to drive successful delivery. Identify and solve technical challenges related to the modernization of both front-end and back-end components. Work with technologies such as WPF and Blazor to create efficient, modern user interfaces. Participate in the evolution of a MicroServices-based ecosystem using tools like RabbitMQ and MongoDB. Proactively engage in discussions around performance, scalability, and security. Take ownership of assigned components and contribute to continuous improvement of the codebase Criteria You have strong hands-on experience with .NET 8 / C# and WPF (WPF is a must-have). You're experienced with SQL Server, MongoDB, and RabbitMQ. You're comfortable in MicroServices-based environments. Blazor experience is a strong plus. You communicate clearly, work independently, and take accountability for your deliverables. You're able to align with development processes already in place and contribute to best practices.
