E-Commerce Performance Marketer

Prominence — Performance Marketing for Brands That Care About Profit

Our Mission

To become the leading voice and go-to operating system for the e-commerce landscape in Europe.

The Role

We're hiring a
Performance Marketer / Media Buyer

to act as the technical engine of our growth Pods.

At Prominence, a Media Buyer is not someone who just \"launches ads.\" You are a
Capital Allocator.

You are entrusted with our clients' most valuable resource: their cash. Your job is to deploy that capital into the market (Meta, Google, TikTok) with the precision of a day trader and the discipline of a scientist.

You don't just \"watch\" the accounts. You actively trade attention for profit. You understand that in a world of automated bidding, your edge comes from
Data Structure

,
Testing Rigor

, and
Financial Efficiency

You will:

  • Manage the Portfolio:

oversee daily spend allocation across Meta, Google, and TikTok.
- Own the Technicals:

CAPI, Pixel, Catalog, Attribution, and Exclusions. If the data pipe is broken, you fix it.
- Execute the Scientific Method:

Run systematic A/B tests to validate the hypotheses built by the Creative Strategist.
- Feed the Machine:

You provide the quantitative feedback loop (\"This hook held attention for 3s, but dropped off at 5s\") that allows the Pod to iterate.

What Makes This Role Different

We don't optimize for \"Green numbers in Ads Manager.\" We optimize for the P&L.

You'll work with:

  • Contribution Margin, not just ROAS:

You understand that high ROAS on low volume is vanity.
- New Customer Acquisition (nCAC):

You know how to exclude existing customers to drive
real

growth.
- Attribution Triangulation:

You don't blindly trust the platform. You use Triple Whale/Northbeam, GA4, and platform data to find the truth.
- Structured Testing:

You don't spray & pray ads. You run isolated variable tests.

What We Look For

Working at Prominence is not for everyone. It is for you if you crave responsibility, mastery, and impact.

We hire for three non-negotiables:

1. COMPLETE OWNERSHIP MENTALITY

  • Treat the Budget as Your Own:

You spend the client's money with the same caution and aggression as if it were your own bank account.
- Reject Excuses:

You never say \"Meta is glitching today.\" You find a workaround. You find a way to win.
- Own the Outcome:

If pacing is off, you don't wait for the weekly call to mention it. You flag it, fix it, and communicate it.
- Be Proactive:

You spot tracking errors or creative fatigue
before

performance dips.
- You embody the phrase:

\"Every Day In Every Play, Count on Me.\"

2. KAIZEN (Continuous Improvement)

  • 1% Better Daily:

You are obsessed with account structure and efficiency.
- Be an Autodidact:

The platforms change weekly. You read the documentation, test the betas, and learn the new features before anyone else.
- Data over Gut:

You don't \"feel\" like an ad is working. You prove it with statistical significance.
- Crave Feedback:

You want to know where your setup was sloppy so you can make it bulletproof next time.

3. UNREASONABLE HOSPITALITY

  • Deliver Peace of Mind:

The client sleeps well knowing you are watching the spend.
- Anticipate Needs:

You answer the question \"Why is CPM up?\" before the client asks it.
- Clarity in Chaos:

You translate complex platform metrics into simple business English for the client.
- Go the Extra Mile:

You double-check the links, the codes, and the landing pages manually. You take safety seriously.

What You'll Do

Capital Allocation & Management

  • Manage daily budgets and pacing across all platforms to hit monthly targets within +/- 2%.
  • Adjust bids and budgets based on hourly/daily performance trends.
  • Scale winners aggressively while protecting margin.

Technical Execution

  • Build and maintain pristine account structures (naming conventions, campaign architecture).
  • Manage Data Feeds (Google Merchant Center/Meta Catalogs) to ensure product data is rich and accurate.
  • Implement and debug tracking (CAPI, GTM, GA4).

The Testing Lab

  • Execute the testing roadmap defined by the Growth Manager.
  • Isolate variables (Creative, Copy, Landing Page, Audience).
  • Report on test results with statistical confidence: \"We are 95% sure creative A beats Creative B.\"

Analysis & Feedback

  • Analyze the \"Why\": Why did CPA rise? Was it CPM? CTR? CVR?
  • Provide the Creative Strategist with data on specific elements (Hooks, CTAs, Formats).
  • Maintain the integrity of our attribution tools (Triple Whale/Northbeam).

What Success Looks Like

  • Pacing Precision:

We hit our spend targets exactly. No under-spending or over-spending surprises.
- Technical Perfection:

No disapproved ads, broken pixels, or messy catalogs.
- Efficiency:

You consistently find ways to lower traffic costs or improve click-efficiency.
- Feedback Speed:

The Creative Strategist gets data on new launches within 48-72 hours.

Required Skills

  • Platform Mastery:

Expert-level knowledge of Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads (Search & Shopping). TikTok is a bonus.
- Excel/Sheets Wizardry:

Pivot tables and VLOOKUPs are your second language.
- Attribution Fluency:

Experience with Triple Whale, Northbeam, or similar tools.
- Technical Aptitude:

Understanding of GTM, Data Layers, and Feeds.
- Financial Literacy:

You understand MER, POAS, and Margin.

Backgrounds we love:

Media Buying, Data Analysis, Finance, Economics, Poker Players (Risk/Reward management).

What You Get

  • Competitive Salary & Bonus:

Linked to the performance and retention of your portfolio.
- Kaizen Budget:

Budget for courses, masterminds, or tools to sharpen your technical edge.
- Tools:

We provide the best tech stack in the industry.
- Autonomy:

Work fully remote. We care about the results in the dashboard, not the hours in the chair.

Final Word

This is not a job for a \"passenger.\" This is a job for a
pilot.

If you want:

  • Accountability

instead of excuses
- Precision

instead of chaos
- Impact

instead of busy work

Then Prominence might be your place.
