Progress Rail, a Caterpillar company, is looking for a
Locomotive Technician
for our depot in Antwerp. You ensure that our EMD locomotives are safe, reliable and ready for operation. You will work on advanced locomotives, diesel engines & new technologies. No two days are the same.

What will you do?

• Maintain, repair and troubleshoot powerful
  EMD JT42CWR (Class 66/77) locomotives
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults by testing, auditing or quality control.
• Respond quickly to ad hoc situations, either on-site or at customer locations
• Work on the EMD 710 diesel engines
• Ensure that safety, quality and documentation are maintained to the highest standards

Who are we looking for?

• A technical background in electromechanics, automotive engineering, marine engineering or a similar field
• A hands-on mindset: you don't shy away from a challenge, and you see it through with a strong focus on quality, precision and safety
• A team player who can communicate clearly in an international working environment
• Travel occasionally within the Benelux, France & Germany
