Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a SAP Consultant, based in the Brussels Metropolitan Area. The SAP Consultant will be responsible for analyzing business processes, providing tailored SAP solutions, and ensuring successful implementation. Day-to-day tasks include engaging in client consulting, managing master data, and overseeing system integration. Collaboration with stakeholders and ensuring optimal system performance are key facets of this role.
SAP Consultant:
Objective
The objective of this contract is to provide SAP consulting expertise to assist customer in project ramp-up, project execution, and post-Go Live
support, ensuring quality deliverables, smooth knowledge transfer, effective testing, and user support.
Scope of Work
The consultant will perform the following activities across the three project phases:
Ramp-up Phase
Conduct self-learning based on related documentation to build knowledge.
Participate in knowledge transfer workshops with internal customer resources.
Conduct shadowing activities alongside customer internal teams.
Support Run activities by handling certain delivery topics as needed.
Engage in risk reduction activities as part of the project derisking efforts.
Project Execution Phase
Participate actively in project workshops.
Validate SAP deliverables provided by the system integrator, including but not limited to requirements specifications, test cases, and
customizations.
Execute testing of SAP solution components.
Provide support to Key Users during rollout preparation.
Participate in data migration activities, including cutover preparation, testing,and validation.
Deliverables
Detailed test scripts and execution results.
Validation reports for SAP deliverables.
Incident logs and resolution documentation.
Workshop and knowledge transfer session materials.
Status and progress reports during all phases.
Required Skills and Expertise
Strong SAP knowledge in FI (Finance) and RAR (Revenue Accounting and Reporting).
Experience working in international, multi-country project environments.
Ability to coordinate with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Proven ability to support data migration and post-Go Live activities.
Project Management and Reporting
The consultant will report directly to the IS SAP Project Manager of Customer or the Work Package Manager of SAP activities, and provide regular
status updates according to the agreed communication plan.
