Role and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development teams, product management and release management to meet sprint and release goals

• Help the Product Manager to define proper acceptance criteria and testing requirements for Features and User Stories

• Develop, maintain and execute test scenarios for both software and firmware

• Help the QA Manager estimate the E2E regression testing effort

• Help the software and firmware teams with verification and validation of the new Features and Stories

• Perform regression testing to assure the quality of our products

• Divide your time over multiple Scrum teams

• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning and sprint review meetings

• Participate and give feedback in go/no-go release meetings
  

  Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent

• Sound knowledge of quality assurance procedures and testing concepts

• Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins, Selenium, GIT, …)

•  Languages:

• Dutch/French speaking with good understanding of the other language.

• Excellent knowledge of English is required.

•  

• Knowledge of agile methodologies (Lean, Kanban, Scrum)

• Excellent technical problem solving and debugging skills

• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• High quality mindset and result oriented individual with a positive attitude

• Be a team player and work as one team to build a feature end-to-end and take responsibility for the outcome

• Knowledge of electricity and/or electronics desired

• Experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages is desired

• ISTQB Agile Tester certification is an asset

• Knowledge of Arduino and/or Raspberry Pi is an asset
