IT/OT Engineer

Summary:

As an IT/OT Engineer, you will support the IT/OT Project Manager by executing tasks and collaborating with IT teams and industrial maintenance teams. You will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining IT and OT systems, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Task Execution:

• Execute tasks assigned by the IT/OT Project Manager.
• Ensure timely and high-quality completion of assigned tasks.
• Provide technical support and solutions to IT and OT-related issues.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with IT teams to implement and maintain IT systems.
• Collaborate with industrial maintenance teams to ensure smooth operation of OT systems.
• Facilitate communication and coordination between IT and maintenance teams.

System Implementation and Maintenance:

• Assist in the implementation of network and IT architectures.
• Ensure proper integration of IT and OT systems.
• Conduct regular maintenance and updates of systems(IT and OT) to ensure optimal performance.

Compliance and Standards:

• Adhere to industry standards and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with safety and performance norms.
• Implement best practices in IT and OT system management.

Data Management:

• Assist in defining specific data requirements from equipment.
• Ensure accurate data collection and analysis for operational improvements.
• Support data-driven decision-making processes.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in IT and OT systems, ideally in an industrial context.
• practical industrial background with OPC UA and PLC configuration (Siemens)
• Strong technical skills in network and IT system implementation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with industrial control systems and maintenance processes.

Qualifications:

• Degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT/OT roles.
• Good knowledge of industrial environments and control systems (PLC).
• Able to make the link between industrial automated equipment's and IT infrastructure (systems, network)
• French and English are a must (a good passive knowledge of dutch is a plus)
