Senior IAM Architect – Responsibilities & Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Implementation: Develop and deploy enterprise IAM solutions to streamline and automate access control for systems and applications.
- Authentication & Authorization Models: Provide expertise in designing secure authentication and authorization frameworks for diverse access types.
- Architectural Leadership: Lead IAM architecture and design initiatives aligned with business requirements and security best practices.
- Identity Governance & CIAM: Implement Identity Governance (IAG) and Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) solutions to enhance security and compliance.
- Technical Evaluation: Assess, recommend, and validate IAM solution implementation strategies.
- Security Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of security technologies, frameworks, and tools to strengthen IAM systems.
- Standardization & Documentation: Define, document, and maintain technical standards and best practices.
- Tool Configuration & Optimization: Configure IAM tools effectively to support enterprise security objectives.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current IAM processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Expertise in Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Active Directory & LDAP – Advanced proficiency
- RBAC, SAML, OAuth – Deep technical knowledge
- CIAM & IAG Architecture and Implementation
- Enterprise IT Security & Cybersecurity Experience
- Azure & Cloud Security – Advanced expertise
- ISO 27000 Series (ISO 27K) Standards – Strong familiarity
- CISSP Certification – Preferred
- Large-Scale Enterprise Experience
- Corporate Governance & Technology Roadmapping
- Enterprise Architecture Knowledge (TOGAF preferred)
Preferred Certifications:
- CIGE (Certified Identity Governance Expert)
- CIAM (Certified Identity & Access Manager)
- CIMP (Certified IAM Professional)
