Finance and HR Manager

About This Opportunity:

Pacific International has been retained by a leading international manufacturerat the intersection of construction and renewable energy. Known for its operational excellence and collaborative culture, the company is strengthening its leadership team and is now seeking a Senior Finance & HR Manager to lead its regional finance operations and people management activities.

Based in Belgium, you will be responsible for ensuring robust financial governance, statutory compliance, accurate reporting, and effective HR processes across France, Belgium and the Netherlands. You will work closely with senior leadership, acting as a key business partner to provide critical financial insights, support strategic decision‐making, and help shape the organization's financial and HR frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

1)Finance Leadership:

• Oversee and manage all finance and accounting activities across Belgium, Netherlands, and France.
• Ensure compliance with local GAAP, statutory requirements, tax filings, and audit obligations.
• Lead, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Drive budgeting and forecasting processes, including annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and ad-hoc projections.
• Prepare and monitor cash‐flow forecasts, ensuring adequate liquidity planning and cash control.
• Analyse financial results and KPIs to support decision-making.
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls and financial policies.

2)HR Management:

• Manage HR operations across Belgium, Netherlands, and France.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Support compensation reviews and HR policy implementation.
• Advise on workforce planning and organisational development.
• Coordinate payroll processes with external providers.

Candidate profile:

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar
• 8+ years of progressive finance experience in an international environment.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and cash‐flow management experience.
• Experience with auditors, tax authorities, and payroll providers.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and HR processes.
• Analytical, structured, and able to work independently.
• High integrity, confidentiality, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Fluent English; French and/or Dutch highly preferred.

Additional Experience:

• Additional HR training is an advantage.
• Professional accounting qualification beneficial.
