Regional Safety Manager


Pacific International Executive Search has been exclusively retained to assist a Fortune 500 company in the search for a Regional Safety Manager.

About This Opportunity:

This role is about creating, leading, and developing various activities concerning big upgrades and erections. Coaching leaders and supporting key systems will be a focus point as in newly changed Safety culture path.

This role will be a Single Point of Contact for SIF program, EMOC, HRCS, Cross audit, SIF audit.


This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to create, lead and coordinate activities across functional areas.


Your responsibilities: Leading, coaching & supporting local teams and regional leaders in Safety & Leadership area.


Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience of safety functions within a manufacturing or technical environment

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field, such as industrial hygiene, engineering, or science

• Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing processes and safety & continuous improvement systems such as TPM.

• Demonstrated process focused, systematic and organized work style.

• Fluent written and spoken English skill is mandatory.


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• 2-3 years’ experience in OHS leader role.

• Experience in implementing training programs and SIF programs.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across region.

• Superb written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to communicate with and engage employees at all levels of the organization.

• Ability to identify hazards, critical process, and system’s needs.

• Highly motivated and able to manage multiple activities, projects, and effectively communicate results.

• Able to work independently and with a team in a matrix environment.

• Excellent networking (earn trust) and time management skills (day to day operations work).

• Process-oriented.

• Willingness and ability to travel a minimum of 70% of working time.
