THE ROLE:
The
Head of Europe Supply Chain & Logistics
is responsible for leading Praesidiad's European supply chain operations while also contributing to
global
supply chain excellence.
The role is structured with 75% focus on European supply chain and logistics leadership, and 25% on global responsibilities.
Reporting to the CEO, this position ensures seamless
integration of planning, procurement, logistics, and distribution across Europe
, while also shaping global logistics standards, KPIs, and transformation projects.
The role is located in Zwevegem, West Flanders, Belgium with significant travel to Praesidiad's European and Chinese manufacturing operations, and occasional global travel

Direct reports: European Supply Chain & Logistics Teams, Procurement, SIOP & Planning, Distribution Center Management
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
European Responsibilities (75%)
- Lead and manage European supply chain and logistics operations, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and resilient performance.
- Oversee and optimise European distribution (BDC2) and transportation execution.
- Drive effective SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) within the European manufacturing footprint.
- Ensure the company has an aligned and focused Procurement function with appropriate strategies to access optimum costs for both raw material and external manufactured finished goods.
- Support master production scheduling for Europe and align with global plans.
- Collaborate with European Plant Leaders and cross-functional teams (Operations, Commercial, Finance) to ensure supply chain supports growth and service goals.
- Lead European supply chain transformation initiatives to improve resilience, efficiency, and service delivery.
Global Responsibilities (25%)
- Act as Global Logistics Excellence Lead, responsible for defining and implementing logistics standards, KPIs, and best practices across all regions.
- Support global SIOP integration across European and Chinese manufacturing footprints.
- Provide input to global procurement strategies to leverage economies of scale and ensure alignment with European operations.
- Ensure local execution contributes to global effectiveness and resilience.
- Consider and leverage global transport activities to optimise efficiency, cost, and service performance.
REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven track record in leading European supply chain operations within a global manufacturing environment.
- Strong expertise in logistics management, planning (SIOP, MPS), and procurement alignment.
- Experience in managing regional supply chains with integration into global networks.
- Demonstrated success in delivering cost efficiencies, resilience, and service improvements.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in matrix and cross-cultural environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Fluent knowledge of English (written and spoken)
