Polymer Comply Europe (PCE) is currently looking for its Brussels office a EU Regulatory Affairs and compliance Manager.
About PCE: Polymer Comply Europe is a service provider for the plastics industry specialized in EU legislation. Since 1989 we have been closely working with the industry developing an in-depth knowledge and wide experience in EU Regulatory Compliance, Association Management and Projects & Studies. Due to the increasing complexity of EU Legislation, companies need more legal and technical advice. Companies involved in the plastics industry need support on how to cope with this burden and our experts can provide you with the best expertise. Companies need proper advice from our best EU experts. Therefore, we decided to develop a pool of EU plastics experts under our service company Polymer Comply Europe, based in Brussels. Polymer Comply Europe helps companies in the plastics industry with its extensive European network in order to bring the right solutions for their business.
EU Regulatory Affairs and compliance Manager
Tasks:
- Consortium and project management.
- Managing companies sector groups. Several sectors are possible: building and construction, automotive, technical parts, and research. The applicants should list their relevant experience in those sectors (product compliance, standardization, and advocacy).
- Regulatory advice, consulting, and compliance tools with the Chemicals Legislation.
- Risk assessment and socio-economic impact assessment.
- Data analysis and regulatory tools management.
- Support and implement EU advocacy strategies of existing clients & accounts.
- Participate in EU EU-funded project Skills and qualifications:
- Master's in Business Administration with an understanding of industrial chemistry or Master's in Economics or Master's degree in Science (including environment management and Circularity) or Chemistry or Health related studies (e.g. Public health, medicine, biomedical, toxicology)or Engineering (with preference on polymer/material sciences)or Legal degree with strong number/data analysis capabilities
- Minimum 3 years of experience in functions involving regulatory affairs, compliance, or project management
- Synthetic mind
- Autonomous, taking initiative and excellent organizational skills
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent time management
- Proficient with xls and data analysis tools (must)
- Multidisciplinary approach
- Quick learner and curiosity
- Good presentation skills and easy interaction with people
- Fluent in English (working language). A good level in at least two other European languages is a plus.
- Computer literacy, website, and database management is a plus
- Multidisciplinary and creative approach
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and work in teams
- Excellent communication skills
- Good presentation skills and easy interaction with people
- Have a commercial mindset working for a service/consultancy company
- Interest in learning about the plastics industry
- Experience in a coaching/mentoring role is a plus.
