Over ons - Orion Laser Tech en LAB Motion Systems zijn twee divisies van een hightechbedrijf dat gespecialiseerd is in de ontwikkeling van laserbewerkingsmachines voor de glasindustrie en zeer nauwkeurige bewegingssystemen. Onze machines vereisen geavanceerde technologieën in alle aspecten: geavanceerde bewegingsprestaties, ultramoderne lasers en optische systemen, geavanceerde functies zoals machine vision-integratie en een software-interface op maat. Over de job – Klaar voor een internationale uitdaging? Als Field Service Technician ben jij de expert in het installeren, onderhouden en repareren van onze geavanceerde machines en systemen bij klanten wereldwijd. Je reist hiervoor naar locaties in Europa, Noord-Amerika en/of Azië. Dankzij jouw diepgaande technische kennis en ervaring zorg je dat onze installaties optimaal blijven functioneren. Opdrachten duren ongeveer één à vier weken. Tussen opdrachten door word je tewerkgesteld in onze werkplaats in Bekkevoort.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Installatie, onderhoud en reparatie van machines, installaties en systemen op locatie wereldwijd.
• Uitvoeren van mechanisch en elektrische assemblage.
• Testen van systemen en gebruik van controlesoftware.
• Lezen en interpreteren van elektrische schema’s en technische tekeningen.
• Diagnoses stellen en storingen oplossen.
• Klanten adviseren en ondersteunen bij het optimaal gebruik van de installaties.

Vaardigheden

• Gedegen ervaring als service technieker of onderhoudstechnieker.
• Opleiding, kennis en ervaring in (elektro)mechanica, elektronica, pneumatica, hydraulica, industriële elektriciteit.
• Een bijzondere voorkeur voor internationale opdrachten: meerdere keren per jaar, gedurende één tot vier weken per keer.
• Sterk oplossingsgericht en zeer zelfstandig ingesteld.
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden, in het bijzonder in het Engels. Eender welke andere taal is een grote plus.

About the Role - Ready for an international challenge? As a Field Service Technician, you are the expert in installing, maintaining, and repairing our advanced machines and systems at customer sites worldwide. You will travel to locations in Europe, North America, and/or Asia. Thanks to your in-depth technical knowledge and experience, you ensure that our installations continue to function optimally. Assignments typically last between one to four weeks. In between, you work at our workplace in Bekkevoort.

Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of machines, installations, and systems on-site worldwide.
• Performing mechanical and electrical assembly.
• Testing systems and usage of control software.
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues.
• Advising and supporting customers in the optimal use of the installations.

Skills

• Solid experience as a service technician or maintenance technician.
• Education, knowledge, and experience in (electro)mechanics, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics and industrial electricity.
• A strong preference for international assignments: multiple times per year, lasting one to four weeks per assignment.
• Highly solution-oriented and able to work independently.
• Strong communication skills, especially in English. Any additional language is a great asset.
