Job Title: IT Director Location: Brussel, Belgium (Hybrid) Duration: 09/03/ /09/2026 Language: French, English JOB DESCRIPTION: The Acting IT Director will be responsible for stabilizing, managing, and transforming the IT department during a transitional period. This role ensures continuity of service, strengthens governance, and prepares the organization for the arrival of a permanent IT Director. Main Responsibilities 1. Management and Stabilization of the IT Department Ensure overall management of IT services across applications, product, infrastructure, and operations. Stabilize organizational structures, processes, and operating modes for both BUILD and RUN activities. Supervise and support managers of Development, Product, and Infrastructure divisions. Establish a clear governance framework for teams and stakeholders. Manage IT budgets, including infrastructure and service costs. 2. Information Systems Diagnostics Conduct a complete, objective, and shared diagnosis of information systems. Assess IT organization and governance, application architecture, infrastructure, delivery, RUN, and security processes. Evaluate maturity of practices (project management, agility, support, etc.). Identify operational, technical, and security risks, as well as major irritants and priority areas for improvement. Present findings in a structured manner to Management. 3. Technical and Governance Recommendations Define and formalize recommendations for IT vision and trajectory. Develop a technological strategy, including application architecture and infrastructure choices. Design target architecture (application, infrastructure, cloud, security). Establish an IT governance model (build/run/devops, supplier management, cost management). Ensure alignment between IT strategy and business priorities. Propose a realistic, prioritized roadmap. 4. Preparing for Transition Document decisions, ongoing projects, and recommendations. Support the onboarding of the future permanent IT Director. Ensure a clear, structured, and secure handover. Profile Experience and Skills Minimum 10 years of experience as an IT Director, combining leadership and technical expertise. Solid experience managing IT teams and managers. Experience in transition or transformation contexts is a strong asset. Proven ability to structure, stabilize, and transform IT environments. Excellent understanding of Microsoft ecosystems (.NET, Microsoft infrastructures, collaborative tools). Mastery of architecture, IT governance, and performance management.
