IT Project manager

The Project / Program Manager is responsible for the structured planning, coordination, and delivery of complex initiatives within an IT Infrastructure organisation, with a particular focus on
hosting environments and cloud platforms
. The role ensures that all assigned projects and programs are executed in line with established governance frameworks, including robust risk and issue management, schedule and baseline tracking, budget oversight, and quality assurance.

This position involves leading cross-functional internal teams and coordinating with external partners to deliver defined objectives within approved timelines and financial constraints. The role spans all phases of the project and program life cycle, ensuring alignment with business needs and compliance with organisational policies and standards.

In addition to strong execution and governance capabilities, the role incorporates key product management principles to support a strategic shift toward
platform-based, product-oriented service delivery
. The Project / Program Manager contributes to the long-term evolution, scalability, and usage-focused design of infrastructure platforms, applying a value-driven mindset to optimise outcomes over time.
