About Oisoi Studio

Oisoi Studio explores how people think, feel, and make things inside 3D environments and turns those insights into delightful, meaningful experiences and games in order to spark and nurture creativity.

The Role

We’re looking for a UX Designer focused on spatial computing. Someone excited to experiment beyond today’s patterns, invent new ones, and shape how people create in 3D. You’ll lead interaction design across VR/MR/AR, translate ideas into rapid prototypes, and run hands‑on experiments to uncover what truly works in space.

What You’ll Do

  • Design end‑to‑end user journeys for VR/MR/AR creative tools—from onboarding to expert workflows.
  • Champion curiosity: propose experiments, question assumptions, and explore emerging platform capabilities.
  • Craft spatial interaction models (gesture, two‑hand interaction, gaze, voice, haptics, controllers, passthrough).
  • Prototype quickly; build interactive proofs‑of‑concept and instrument them for learning.
  • Run research through design: plan studies, recruit participants, design tasks, analyze insights, and iterate.
  • Define and document spatial UI patterns, heuristics, and accessibility guidelines for 3D environments.
  • Collaborate closely with game design, 3D art, and engineering to deliver shippable experiences.
  • Communicate decisions with crisp visuals—flows, storyboards, interaction maps, and motion/interaction specs.

What You’ll Bring

  • Some experience designing interactive products (game UX, XR, 3D tools, or complex creation software a plus).
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating spatial interaction or advanced 3D workflows; clear problem framing and iteration stories.
  • Prototyping fluency.
  • Practical understanding of human‑centered design in 3D.
  • Ability to test systematically: define hypotheses, measure outcomes, and translate results into design decisions.
  • Excellent communication; comfort presenting to multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • You have an artistic hobby or practice - anything works. We love artists.

How We Work

  • Experiment‑first. We learn in the headset, not just on slides.
  • Small cross‑functional team. Designers and engineers pair closely from day one.
  • Playful rigor. We value both exploration and measurable outcomes.
  • Hybrid‑remote. We support focused remote work with regular in‑person jams.

We Offer

…a competitive salary;

…lunch vouchers;

…3 days of remote work per week;

…transportation cost reimbursement;

…29 days of paid holiday (a company-wide break during end-of-year festivities);

…comprehensive health insurance;

…opportunities to work on innovative, user-centric XR projects;

…a friendly, collaborative, and inclusive studio culture where we build

Hiring Process

  1. Portfolio review & intro call (30 min).
  2. Deep‑dive interview on interaction approach and prototyping (60 min).
  3. Design + prototype exercise (small, time‑boxed; we respect your time).
  4. Team chat with product, art, and engineering.

How to Apply

Send your portfolio, CV/LinkedIn, and a short note about a spatial interaction you’re proud of (and what you learned from testing it) to sam@oisoi.studio with subject line “UX Designer — Spatial Computing.”

Thanks a million!
