Functional Implementation Consultant

To strengthen our team in Mechelen we are currently looking for a:

FUNCTIONAL IMPLEMENTATION CONSULTANT

In the role of
Functional Implementation Consultant
for eXimius, you will focus on configuring, installing and supporting/customizing the software according to the customer's needs. This involves working together with the client and technical consultant, understanding the requirements and subsequently configuring them. Additionally, it may also involve migrating data from legacy systems into the Objectway solution for greenfield projects.

Main Activities:

• Representing Objectway, being a key point of contact with customers though regular weekly meetings
• Analyse and define the business requirements and processes with the aim of creating the best solutions as per customer need.
• Documentation of these business requirements and process from a functional/technical specifications perspective, detailing enhancements and extensions to the products.
• Supporting the development team on new customer requirements.
• Advising clients on strategic choices during the implementation or usage of Objectway products and on optimal product configuration to support the customer's processes.
• Informing customers of new available functionalities following version upgrades.
• Definition and implementation of greenfield projects.- as well as training users.
• Monitoring BAU activity and customer calls/incidents handling in collaboration with involved parties. Continuously rolling out new hotfixes and customizing/configuring environments if required.
• Setting up and configuring environments from a functional point of view. (Some technical may be required)
• Building reports or customizing existing ones.
• Travel might be required for the job.

Requirements:

• An IT or Economics degree or equivalent experience (+4 years would be appreciated).
• Experience with the banking and Wealth Management industry.
• Knowledge of banking systems like e.g. PMS, Back-Office, Order Management
• Knowledge of the Microsoft platform (Windows Server, SQL Server, …)
• Knowledge of T-SQL to write, understand and update SQL code
• Working knowledge of MS Office Applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English ; Dutch/French is a plus.
• Team player, flexible, accurate.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Crystal Reports
• Knowledge of CRM Dynamics
