Business Development & Marketing Consultant


Do you want to contribute to a safe European market while gaining an authentic international experience as expert consultant?

Obelis is currently looking for a Business Development & Marketing Consultant to join our Brussels team.

Your role and key responsibilities will be:

1.Provide professional, high level and smooth (internal & external) client service

2.Perform various tasks associated with Marketing and Growth Department:

  • Analyze industry & market - trends, needs and opportunities
  • Conduct Benchmarking exercises to better understand the competition landscape
  • Regular reporting of the findings from the benchmarking and the market intelligence
  • Research Possible Partners & Sub contractors to support Obelis in expanding its business (Worldwide, Related & Non-Related Industries)
  • Interview NEW Partners & Reps to identify best fit (according to profile)
  • Develop & Integrate NEW partnerships Allowing business expansion and or lead generation
  • Coordinate all activities (online & offline) with existing Partners & Reps
  • Negotiate terms and agreements with NEW/existing partners & Reps
  • Administrate payments & agreements with existing Partners & Reps
  • Maintain relationships with existing Partners & Representatives

3. Contribute to all other department projects and tasks (Exhibitions organization, emailing campaigns, basic digital marketing activities, webinars organization ...)

4. Provide assistance to Department Managers and/or Unit Directors

5. Support preparations for Management & Board Meetings

6. Provide internal trainings on department related matters

7. Support to the implementation of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485

8. Represent Obelis at external events

Requirements:

  • BA degree in Sales, Marketing, Communication, Business Management, Economics or similar discipline
  • 4-6 years professional experience in Business Development, Marketing, Sales Representative or similar role
  • Previous professional experience in EU affairs
  • Fluency in English (written & oral)
  • Proficiency at Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,
  • Proficiency at CRM Software
  • You are a fantastic team player, inspire peers and communicate clearly and effectively
  • High adaptability, flexibility and commitment supported by a positive ‘can-do’ attitude
  • You have attention to detail and organize workload efficiently to meet deadlines with high quality results
  • Willing to travel in/out of the European Union
