Paid social expert

The position

OMD Belgium is looking for a Digital Expert in social media. As an experienced Social Media Specialist, your job is to plan and implement paid social media campaigns for our clients. Additionally, you're responsible for analysing and optimizing your campaigns, as well as improving their performance. You’ll also have full responsibility to lead and evolve the social strategy for the accounts you work on. You will communicate with all key stakeholders and work closely with the client team.

Requirements

• Relevant experience of 2-5 years in a social expertise role
• Prior experience in a media agency or management of substantial paid social campaigns
• Facebook Blueprint certified in Buying
• Adept at number crunching, Excel, and dashboard utilization
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent presentation skills
• A ‘Can Do’ attitude
• Business savvy
• Persuasive
• By preference Dutch and/or French speaking and a good knowledge of English

Responsibilities

• Define social media strategies and recommendations for our client base
• Plan and implement paid social media campaigns across a range of platforms including Meta, Snapchat TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn
• Comfortable with the Facebook pixel, event tracking and the conversion API
• Natural ability to analyse and optimize campaigns against effective benchmarks and KPI's
• Proactively make recommendations to meet campaign goals and improve performance
• Communicate with key stakeholders on project development, timelines, and results.
• Work closely with the client team
