As a contractor Wales, Scotland, England and Faroe Islands, you'll transform production ideas into a strategic purchasing plan. You'll also be responsible for setting up contracting partnerships and gathering the necessary partner information.

More concretely:

  • You'll closely monitor trends in your destination and our markets. You'll keep a close eye on what our competitors are doing, what our markets are demanding, and what developments are happening in the destinations themselves. You'll collaborate with other buyers, partners, tourist boards, and all sales teams.
  • Based on the purchasing plan, you travel to your destinations to convince partners to work with us, both for accommodation, transportation, and excursions.
  • You conclude clear contracts and cooperation conditions with each partner regarding prices, quotas/guarantees, cancellation conditions and invoicing conditions.
  • You provide each partner with a clear fact sheet (detailed product description, how-to instructions, photos, etc.).
  • You ensure good information flow to the product coordinators.
  • Together with the product coordinator, you will train all travel designers on product knowledge at the start of the sales season.

  • You have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in tourism as a buyer/product manager.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with one or more of our destinations is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • You have professional oral and written communication skills in English (minimum level B2, preferably C1).
  • You are flexible and stress resistant.
