Our headquarters are located in Antwerp but we also have our own production and assembly facility for the Nobi lamps in Aartselaar. Next to that we have teams in the US and in the UK.

Your Spot in the Future

We are looking for an SMT Operator to join our location in Aartselaar. You will be responsible for placing components on circuit boards using an SMT machine, and ensuring the SMT production line operates smoothly by following drawings, machine programs, and work instructions. You’ll handle preparation, execution, and other tasks required to optimize the production process. Since this is a specialized SMT line, internal training will be provided.

You’ll be working within a team and under the guidance of our current SMT Operator, who will serve as your direct supervisor. This individual, as the lead SMT Operator, will oversee the line and guide you in your role, ensuring clarity in responsibilities and support for your growth and performance.

Your Responsibilities:

• Supplying the machine with components
• Programming and operating the machine
• Ensuring production phases run smoothly
• Detecting minor technical issues and resolving malfunctions
• Conducting necessary quality checks
• Maintaining production equipment and the workspace

You for Nobi

• You have a secondary education diploma in Electromechanics or a 7th-year diploma in Electrical Installation Techniques (or equivalent experience)
• Basic knowledge of SMT machines is a plus but not required, as comprehensive training will be provided
• You have a good technical understanding
• You are precise and capable of working in an environment where accuracy is crucial
• You are motivated and eager to learn
• You can work independently and take initiative
• You have a proactive attitude and can think in a solution-oriented way
• You have a good command of English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus but not essential
• You will work in the late shift starting from 13.30 until 21.00
