ServiceNow Developer

Location: Leuven (2 days onsite, 3 days remote)

Contract: 6 months (extension possible)

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our clients team for a hybrid assignment based in Leuven. You’ll be responsible for hands-on development, configuration, and implementation within the ServiceNow platform across modules such as ITSM, CSM, and HRSD. This role focuses on building and enhancing solutions based on defined requirements and standards, working closely with technical leads and administrators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules (ITSM, CSM, HRSD).
• Build and maintain workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI actions, and integrations.
• Perform unit testing and resolve defects during testing phases.
• Implement updates and enhancements according to technical specifications and best practices.
• Maintain documentation for development activities and configurations.
• Collaborate with other developers and administrators to ensure high-quality and maintainable code.
• Support deployments, upgrades, and ongoing platform maintenance.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer in an enterprise or consulting environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, CSM, and HRSD.
• ServiceNow System Administrator certification and at least one Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification (preferably CIS–CSM).
• Good understanding of ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide) and integration methods (REST, SOAP, APIs).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Service Portal, Flow Designer, or IntegrationHub.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery environments.
• Experience with version upgrades and performance tuning.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months (with possible extension)
• Work setup: 2 days onsite in Leuven, remainder remote
• Start date: ASAP
