ServiceNow Consultant – ITOM Implementation

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months (plus possible extension)

Location: Brussels

Travel Requirements: 2 days on-site per week, 3 remote

Language: English

Minimum Experience: 5+ years with ServiceNow

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of ServiceNow ITOM modules, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB.
• Analyze infrastructure and operational requirements to design scalable ITOM solutions.
• Configure and optimize MID Servers, probes, and sensors for data collection.
• Implement integrations with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Dynatrace, Zabbix, etc.).
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure and cloud teams to map services and dependencies.
• Manage CMDB health, data quality, and reconciliation rules.
• Support platform testing, UAT, go-live, and post-deployment activities in an Agile environment.

Functional Requirements:

• Strong understanding of IT operations and service management processes.
• Experience working with infrastructure, cloud, and network teams.
• Ability to gather and translate technical requirements into ServiceNow configurations.

Technical Requirements:

• Proven hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM, especially Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
• Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, Glide API) and experience with MID Server setup.
• Familiarity with CMDB architecture, normalization, and data ingestion.

Nice to Have:

• ServiceNow Certifications (CSA, ITOM Implementation Specialist)
• Knowledge of Service Graph Connectors and IntegrationHub
