ServiceNow ITSM Developer

Next Ventures have partnered with a leading global consultancy to recruit an experienced ServiceNow Developer for an exciting contract opportunity. You will join a client project team to design, develop, and customize scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6–12 months (with potential extension)
• Location: Fully remote
• Start Date: ASAP

Role Overview:

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for building tailored applications, enhancements, and integrations on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ITSM practices, hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, and a passion for delivering high-quality technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop custom applications and enhancements within the ServiceNow ecosystem
• Configure workflows, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies
• Customize core ServiceNow modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into effective solutions
• Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT)

Requirements:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development
• In-depth knowledge of ITSM modules and processes
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and ServiceNow Glide scripting
• Experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and the Service Portal
• Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling
• Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices
