To strengthen our current team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated
Purchasing Administrator.
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our sales operations, with focus on the supplier follow-up, and contributing to our business success

Being part of an experienced and dynamic team, you will be responsible for the supplier side in the follow-up of orders. You have a hands-on mentality and can work independently.

You will be the point of contact for the supplier, where they can turn to with all their questions to ensure their file is completed flawless. You will be based in St-Job.

Your Role

Full follow up of your supplier files from A to Z:

  • Placing orders with suppliers and closely monitoring delivery times
  • Processing supplier orders accurately in SAP
  • Confirming supplier orders to the Inside sales team and Backoffice colleagues
  • Managing and monitoring stock levels in relation to delivery deadlines and contractual agreements with the customer (in collaboration with your Sales colleagues)
  • Acting as the first point of contact for complaints and attempting to resolve them independently in the first instance

Your Profile

  • Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English.
  • Min of 3 years experience in a similar job
  • Solid IT skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • SAP knowledge is a plus. Other ERP package knowledge is a must have.
  • Supplier-focused, tactful, and polite in communication
  • Able to work independently and take initiative where needed
  • Versatile and flexible
  • Always enthusiastic
  • Punctual, precise, and administratively strong
  • A real team player who can also support colleagues during busy periods
