Team Manager | Property & Facility Services

Nested is looking for an entrepreneurial Team Manager for its Property & Facility Services, to lead and scale our maintenance services. This is a unique opportunity to establish a profitable service line that not only supports our managed properties but also serves external clients, including real estate funds, developers, and individual homeowners.

We’re seeking a leader to oversee day-to-day operations, manage our internal maintenance team, and drive business growth.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the team: Manage and develop our internal maintenance technicians and assistants.
• Diagnose issues accurately: Be the technical go-to, capable of identifying root causes and defining the right interventions.
• Manage external providers: Build and maintain a strong network of trusted contractors across Brussels (plumbers, electricians, etc.) for outsourced work.
• Follow up on leads: Act as the commercial point of contact for external clients—prepare quotes, update on works in progress, and ensure satisfaction.
• Implement processes: Create structured workflows, quality control standards, and use tools like Fixform to manage tickets and interventions efficiently.
• Track performance: Monitor KPIs, generate reports, and ensure both operational excellence and profitability.
• Scale the team: Recruit and onboard skilled professionals in line with business growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience in maintenance operations, facility management, or property services
• Strong technical skills with the ability to diagnose problems on site
• A trusted network of reliable service providers in Brussels
• Excellent people management and scheduling skills
• Commercial mindset — comfortable engaging with external clients and closing service deals
• Process-oriented and highly organized
• Fluent in French and English (Dutch is a plus)
• Comfortable using digital tools
