Project Manager - BESS and PV

Our client is a well established technical and construction partner operating across Belgium, with a strong focus on industrial renovation, energy solutions, and turnkey projects.

To support the growth of the energy division, we are looking for a Project Manager specialising in photovoltaic (PV) installations and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

The organisation delivers complete projects from engineering and design through to execution and commissioning of industrial-scale energy installations.

As Project Manager, you will collaborate closely with the commercial team and report to the Business Unit leadership. You will have autonomy in organizing your work while carrying full responsibility for project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple projects from preparation phase through execution to final handover
• Monitor project performance, budgets, and financial results
• Coordinate with subcontractors, clients, designers, and safety stakeholders
• Ensure safe execution of works and compliance with quality standards and regulations
• Oversee project administration, progress reporting, and invoicing
• Provide technical input during tendering, costing, and proposal preparation
• Support procurement activities and stay updated on market developments and technologies
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and project efficiency

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a technically strong professional with proven project leadership experience within the construction or energy sector.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in project management
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent through experience
• Knowledge of safety regulations relevant to construction environments (e.g., VCA or equivalent)
• Fluent Dutch with good English communication skills
• Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems and energy storage solutions
• Leadership skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
