We are now seeking an Engineering Manager to lead teams responsible for the development, operation, and modernization of the company’s core operational infrastructure, ensuring stability, performance, and compliance across high-availability systems that support international financial transactions.
Role Overview
As an Engineering Manager, you will lead multiple engineering teams delivering end-to-end solutions that underpin the company’s global operations. You will be accountable for the reliability and scalability of critical systems, overseeing both development and operational delivery.
This role requires a proven leader capable of bridging the gap between mid-level and senior engineers, driving technical excellence, and fostering a collaborative, performance-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and inspire engineering teams responsible for core infrastructure and platform services.
- Mentor engineers, helping mid-level talent grow into senior and leadership positions.
- Foster a culture of ownership, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Technical & Operational Management
- Oversee the design, delivery, and ongoing stability of mission-critical systems and services.
- Drive modernization initiatives to enhance resilience, scalability, and observability.
- Ensure best-practice implementation across CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure reliability.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Partner closely with product, operations, and customer support teams to align delivery with business needs.
- Translate strategic goals into actionable engineering roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and dependencies to executive stakeholders clearly and effectively.
Risk, Compliance & Regulatory Awareness
- Ensure infrastructure and software services comply with financial regulations and internal governance standards.
- Maintain high standards for system security, data protection, and operational continuity.
- Champion best practices in risk management and incident response.
Required Experience & Skills
- 8+ years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering, including 3+ years in a managerial capacity.
- Proven track record managing critical, high-availability infrastructure or platform services.
- Strong understanding of the financial services industry, including regulatory and compliance considerations.
- Experience with modern infrastructure technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, observability tooling).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
