Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Smart Building - Sales Manager / future Head of Sales to develop and lead the commercial strategy of an innovative company specializing in Smart Building solutions. Over time, a Sales team will have to be put in place as market share gains traction. This key position aims to promote our intelligent building management solutions, covering energy efficiency, air quality, occupancy management, and water consumption monitoring.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the commercial strategy in line with company objectives.
  • Identify, prospect, and build loyalty among new clients (key accounts, real estate developers, building managers, municipalities, property managers, etc.).
  • Develop a client portfolio with a strong "hunter" mindset, targeting property owners, property managers, facility managers, and tenant companies in the tertiary sector, as well as property managers in the multi-residential sector.
  • Design and negotiate commercial offers tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to ensure a consistent and effective approach.
  • Conduct strategic monitoring of the Smart Building market and identify new opportunities.
  • Participate in professional events and trade shows to promote the company's solutions.
  • Provide regular reporting on sales performance and adjust the strategy as needed.

Candidate Profile

  • Higher education in business, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in B2B technology solution sales, ideally in real estate, smart buildings, energy, or IoT.
  • Strong drive for business development and prospecting (hunter profile).
  • Good understanding of issues related to energy efficiency and new technologies applied to buildings.
  • Knowledge of the real estate sector and its key players (owners, building managers, property managers, facility managers, tenant companies).
  • Affinity with IoT, SaaS, and energy efficiency concepts (no technical background required).
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and digital prospecting techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Professional bilingualism in French/Dutch is desirable.
