Senior IT Project Manager (Core Applications)

What you will do

• Lead large-scale IT projects across core application landscapes
• Set up and run project governance (stakeholders, steering committees, reporting)
• Challenge business requirements and define realistic scope, timing, and budget
• Coordinate architects, development teams, and external partners
• Build and manage project roadmaps, budgets, and work packages
• Monitor delivery progress, quality, risks, and dependencies
• Proactively manage risks, issues, and corrective actions
• Report clearly to senior stakeholders and decision bodies
• Foster collaboration and motivation across multidisciplinary teams

What you bring

• 10+ years of experience in IT project management (application development)
• Proven delivery of large projects (>1,000 mandays)
• Strong background in regulated or complex environments
• Solid knowledge of Prince2 and waterfall methodologies
• Experience working with multiple technologies and legacy systems
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Fluent English + fluent Dutch or French (one active, one passive)
• Structured, proactive, and results-driven mindset
• Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience
