MpowerT is conducting an exciting search on behalf of a rapidly growing Belgian industrial group active in Industrial Automation. Backed by Private Equity, the organization is known for its strong governance, entrepreneurial culture, and clear strategic ambition to scale sustainably.

To further strengthen and professionalize the division, we are looking for an impactful Business Line Manager who will take full ownership of both commercial and operational performance.

📌 The Role: Business Line Manager

As Business Line Manager, you carry full P&L responsibility for your business line. You oversee and steer daily operations, drive commercial growth, develop your team, and translate the group’s strategy into measurable results.

Reporting directly to the executive committee, you act as a connector between internal departments and external stakeholders, while fostering a culture of performance, safety, and continuous improvement.

⚡ Key Responsibilities

1. People Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of technical professionals.
• Foster a safe, motivating, and high‑performance culture.
• Set objectives, monitor results, and drive accountability.

2. Operational Excellence

• Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient execution.
• Improve processes, quality, and delivery reliability.
• Manage capacity, resources, and operational risks.

3. Commercial Strategy & Growth

• Translate commercial goals into actionable plans.
• Achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Build long‑term customer relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Lead pricing and contract negotiations.

4. Financial Leadership

• Full P&L responsibility for the business line.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
• Optimize margins, cost structure, and profitability.
• Report results to senior leadership.

5. Strategic Contribution & Business Development

• Convert corporate strategy into a clear business roadmap.
• Lead improvement and change initiatives.
• Identify market and organizational trends and opportunities.

6. Stakeholder Management, Quality & Safety

• Act as the central link between internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Champion continuous improvement and innovation.
