Who is Movu Robotics? A little history...

Founded in 2021 and based in Lokeren, Movu Robotics is a fast-growing subsidiary of Stow Group, specialising in the automation and robotisation of warehouses. Their revenue increased from € 50 million in 2022 to € 100 million in 2023, with an expected € 200 million in 2024 and a long-term target of € 1 billion. At the end of 2023, Movu had 300+ employees in Europe and the US. To support the growth of this high-tech gem, a state-of-the-art IT landscape was built.

IT Transformation and Projects

Movu follows a Cloud-First and Best-of-Market strategy, which recently completed an SAP S/4HANA implementation. Movu is now focusing on an intensive optimisation phase. Due to the company's rapid growth, numerous improvements and expansions are on the horizon.

The Applications Team

Movu chooses to build a small and solid internal IT team, reinforced by a few external partners. For further optimisation and expansion, we are looking for a SAP Lead to manage the SAP landscape in collaboration with the Application Manager.

Tasks in this position:

• Ownership of SAP landscape: Develop and refine the SAP roadmap, monitor and optimise the architecture and continuously respond to the latest SAP trends and best practices. Working closely with IT, finance, and operations to ensure an integrated and efficient SAP implementation.
• SAP Deployment & Optimisation: Translating business needs into concrete IT solutions and implementations. Identifying opportunities for improvement within the application landscape and realising strategic optimisations.
• Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Acting as a bridge between the shop floor, colleagues, the business and C-level executives. Ensuring broad support and successful implementations through effective communication and collaboration.
• Hands-on SAP Logistics Expert: Analysing business needs within various SAP modules (SD, MM, PS, LE, FI, CO, PP, HR). Configure, optimise, and support deployments, upgrades, and enhancements to ensure the smooth operation of SAP across the organisation.
• Support & Knowledge Assurance: Conducting tests, coordinating end-user training and drafting technical documentation to sustainably record processes and support operational efficiency.

What skills and characteristics do you bring to the table...

• Strong SAP logistics knowledge, within SAP SD-MM-LE (customising), knowledge of SAP PP-WM-PS-EWM is a plus.
• Experience with S4HANA.
• Both detail-oriented and able to maintain an overview of end-to-end processes.
• Positive mentality, healthy ambition and proactive attitude.
• Strong communication skills, with adaptability to the audience.
• Analytically minded and flexible in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
• Interest in new technologies and innovation.
• Experience in an international context and managing various external partners.
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to set priorities.
