Our client, a food manufacturer, is seeking a dynamic HSE Manager to lead and improve Health & Safety performance across multiple manufacturing sites. This strategic leadership role will focus on standardizing safety practices, building a proactive safety culture, and aligning site-level safety efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with company H&S standards and local regulations.
- Conduct gap analyses and execute structured action plans.
- Lead audits (governmental, corporate, certification).
- Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
- Develop and manage safety budgets and CAPEX proposals.
- Implement training programs and foster safety leadership.
- Drive engagement and maintain a proactive safety culture.
- Report and monitor key safety KPIs (LTA, Non-LTA, dangerous acts).
- Mentor and coach site H&S Managers to enhance safety leadership and cultural maturity.
- Create synergies across sites through shared tools, training, and processes.
- Lead cross-site audits and knowledge sharing.
- Support global H&S initiatives and corporate projects.
- Develop digital tools to enhance H&S deployment.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 7–10+ years of experience in H&S within industrial environments (food industry experience preferred, but not required).
- Strong technical background with experience in automated/process manufacturing.
- Certified Internal Prevention Advisor (Level 2).
- A visible, hands-on leader who drives safety culture transformation.
- Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
- Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and working transversally.
- Strong change management and coaching capability.
- Structured, rigorous, and execution-focused approach.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and culture builder.
