Your Role:

• Design and model next-gen silicon photonic components and circuits
• Define PIC-based architectures for transformative tech applications
• Lead validation processes through test planning and statistical analysis
• Work cross-functionally with global teams to deliver innovative solutions
• Engage with stakeholders to align research goals and secure funding

About You:

• Ph.D. in Photonics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in silicon photonics and III-V component design/testing
• Strong background in PIC integration, EICs, RF ICs, and system-level photonic design
• Proficient in modeling tools: Photon Design, Lumerical, COMSOL, CST
• Skilled with layout tools like Tanner L-Edit and Luceda Ipkiss
• Programming experience in Python and familiarity with VPI software a plus
