Frontend React Developer / Frontend Developer, Kortrijk, Belgium, Hybrid, Flemish preferred, full time / permanent only, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, React.JS, REST API's, UI Component/UI development, CI/CD.

The most important Technical skills are the following:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Solid experience with React.js and its core principles
• Experience working with REST APIs, ODATA and JSON
• Hands-on experience with Mobiscroll for building UI components
• Proficiency with Bootstrap for responsive layout and UI development
• Familiarity with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Skilled in creating intuitive and effective user experiences
• Basic understanding of performance optimization
• independent learner with the ability to lead a project from A to Z
• Prior experience in customer-facing application development is beneficial
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Knowledge of agile development practices

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain front-end applications using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and React.js, ensuring scalable and maintainable code.
• Implement user interfaces with Mobiscroll and Bootstrap, focusing on responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Consume and integrate REST APIs and ODATA services, handling data in JSON format to support dynamic user experiences
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through version control systems such as Git and adherence to coding best practices.
• Drive performance optimization by identifying bottlenecks and improving application speed and responsiveness
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, aiding in automated testing, deployment, and delivery of front-end features.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, occasionally including customer-facing roles, to gather requirements and deliver solutions
• Stay current with emerging technologies and frameworks, continuously improving skills and exploring new tools to enhance development workflows.
